This is the first of the video I recorded at Sex 2.0. This session is in two parts because, due to technical difficulties, it’s missing a chunk in the middle. Sorry Maria! For more, you can see Figleaf’s notes and Maria Diaz’s post about Sex 2.0.

Interesting. We just had a provincial election here today. Last night on the news there was a detailed piece concerning the growing difficulty politicians have doing two things; hiding past “indiscretions” in order to get elected to office, and denying past indiscretions in order to stay in office. The very instrument which has made porn so easily available to everyone seems also to have focused attention on high profile people who watch it. As far as politicians are concerned this is most unfair.
The last time I checked politicians were not exactly known for their squeaky clean lifestyles. Would it not be more just if candidates who were publicly shown to watch porn were praised for being true to their profession’s natural predilections? “Vote for me because I like to look at kinky things on my computer when I think no one is watching!” In a perfect world “revenge porn” could sometimes be “reward porn”.
