I collect used books, and people give me others they think I would like. This gets unwieldy. Not only am I constitutionally unable to throw away a book, these books tend to be hard to re-adopt at, say, the local church.
They don’t need feeding or walking, and they don’t make a mess. Do you have space in your home… and your heart?
If you want a book, leave a comment saying which one (and why, if you like). Then email me (misscalico at gmail dot com) with your shipping address. Books go to the first taker.
I’d appreciate Paypal donations for the shipping, especially for the hardcover (or if you live outside the USA). But if money is tight, leave me an extra-awesomely-compelling reason and I’ll see what I can do.

I’ll actually take the copy of Exhibitionism for the Shy: embarrassingly enough, I’ve never read it, and I live in mortal fear of the moment when someone references it in front of Carol and it becomes obvious that I’m clueless. Then when I’m done I’ll likely re-gift it to someone I’m dating here.
I’ll be in NYC in late January or early February, so no need to ship.

Hm, I wonder what it says that I already have many of these books?
What did you think of Female Chauvinist Pigs? I found it enlightening in talking about how our culture treats sex, in ways I hadn’t really been able to put my finger on before.

hurray, I’ll take Female Chauvinist Pigs off your hands. I’m a big fan of Levy’s writing and haven’t picked that up yet, though it’s been on my list for a while.
those are some great books you’ve got listed … makes me want to come over and look through your bookcases.
